On May 4 2026, the Karlstad University team (Stefanos Georganos & Sai Ganesh Veeravalli) visited Lund University (Ola Hall, Tilly Laestander) for a SESAC meeting and strategic planning sessions.

The highlight of the visit was welcoming our industry partners to the drawing board for a major kickoff meeting to design our upcoming Co-creative Innovation Challenge – an event focused on translating Earth Observation (EO) data into real-world social impact.

We believe that true impact happens when academic research connects directly with industry expertise. That is why this upcoming challenge is being developed hand-in-hand with these incredible innovators:
